I was never raised as a Christian but I always believed in God. It was several decades ago that I was baptised and confirmed in the Church of England. However, over the years my immersion into the world of physics took me away from my beliefs as I questioned Christianity and explored other spiritual philosophies around the world, particularly Buddhism for which many parts of it resonated with me.
In October 2024 I turned 50 and wrote down a 10 year plan for what I would like to achieve. Christianity was not even on this list. As I entered 2025 a set of events would unfold in my life that directly exposed me to the presence of Jesus Christ. I won’t recount those experiences here, but the they had a profound influence on me. This led me to a set of events, such that on the 21st May 2025 I decided I would follow the Christian path and follow the teachings of Jesus. This is despite my own iniquities and mistakes. I am therefore proud to call myself a Christian and to advocate for the teachings of the Gospels and the words of the apostles. In the future, I may or may not discuss some of my personal experiences, in time I will decide.
Since i’m also a scholar, I like to do research, therefore, in terms of Christianity this has manifested itself in several personal projects. This includes:
Studies into the equivalence of the Logos with the Grand Unified Theory of Physics.
Studies into the light emission properties of the Shroud of Turin.
Studies into the claims, and historical evidence, that Jesus came to England as a young man on several occasions.
Research and translations of the Jordanian Codices.
Explorations of the implications of Extraterrestrial Intelligence to the Christian philosophy.
Several of these have resulted in write-ups which have the potential to become published papers or books and I am currently working on those.
Ancient Greece and the Judeo-Christian model is the foundation of the Western world. I feel that many have turned their backs on this heritage and this partly explains the degradation of Western countries. In particular, I believe a renewal in Europe depends on returning to these roots if we are to rebuild a prosperous society.
